During a time of a reggaeton takeover, Sech was able to put his foot in the door and slam the industry wide open. His smooth, soothing vocals are reviving spanish reggae by taking it back to his panamanian roots. His sensual urban fusion melodies, and lyrics that focus on romance, dreams and positive vibes are taking over Urban Music by a storm.
Born in Rio Abajo, Panama as Carlos Isaias Morales Williams, Sech has quickly gathered the affection of big artists such as Nicky Jam, Maluma, J Balvin and many more. But we cannot forget that his beginnings were not easy. When he was younger, he used to be a street vendor that would sing to the people that walked by. It’s safe to say that even with all of this upcoming fame, Sech has continued to be recognized as one of the most humble artists in the industry.
“I don’t have a big trajectory,” he says to Billboard. “I’m practically a new artist but I’m working very hard and people are supporting my music. That’s the most important thing for me.”
Music Producer Dimelo Flow who is also a fellow Panamanian, discovered Sech after his hit “Miss Lonely” became a viral sensation in Colombia back in 2017. Sech is currently signed to the same label as Dimelo Flow, Rich Music.

Under the label, the Panamanian artist dropped his debut studio album Sueños, which includes his hit single "Otro Trago" featuring Darell and his remix to his hit song “Que Mas Pues?” with his impressive features on the track made up of Maluma, Nicky Jam, Lenny Tavarez, Justin Quiles and Dalex. The album, which dropped April 18, debuted at No. 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart dated May 4, mainly based on streams. It also debuted at No. 6 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart dated May 4. This marks Sech’s first-ever chart entry right off the bat!
For Sech, the journey has been a dream come true. “This is a very important moment for music in my country,” he tells Billboard. “If things are going great for me, then many people might begin to explore the music industry in Panama. This is not only for me. I want the new generation of artists to see that everything is possible.”
Sech is 25 years old and claims that his major accomplishment is having numbers almost at the same level as most of the big artists in the genre and says that he feels as motivated as ever to keep hitting those numbers and be right next to his idols. Ever since his debut, he has been featured in multiple songs by major artists in the industry including a feature on Maluma’s 11:11 album
